Motivational Monday: Sinking Ship

I love this! And I have no idea where it came from. If you do, let me know so I can give this brilliant mind some credit!

I’ve got to admit that I’m not a huge fan of the tattoos and pictures of anchors that say “I refuse to sink.” That is what anchors do. They are made out of pig iron or another heavy substance specifically to sink and keep the ship safe in harbor or near shore, frequently to weather storms or provide access. Anchors must sink!
The idea on the note in the picture says the same thing, but makes so much more sense to me. You are a mighty ship, weathering the storm. You have a crew that loves you and patches you up when the stuff gets in, and you are equipped with pumps (your stress relief tactics) to evacuate the mess that gets inside. You’re pretty buoyant, and the ocean isn’t working to make you sink. Instead of refusing to sink…

Stay up!
